Huangshan, the yellow mountain

Last June, during the school break, my parents brought my sister and I to China.

One of the places we visited was Huangshan. It is a mountainous place. In chinese huang means yellow and shan means mountain. It was named Huangshan because in there the mountains are real yellow in colour. According to my father, the yellow colour comes from limestones.

In there I saw many strange shaped mountains, clouds and trees. In here are some pictures I took when I was there. Enjoy!
